GAIA – a derivation from ancient Greek “Gaea”, was believed as the mother of nature. Founded by two culinary experts, Chef Diego Chiarini & Stephane Colleoni, Gaia brings authenticity and creativity in delivering Traditional North Italian cuisine. Here at Gaia Jakarta, Executive Chef Kenny Lim collaborates with Italian Sous Chef Marco Caverni, to express their own philosophy by stimulating the appetite of our guests serving a wide variety of Italian dishes, from our homemade pasta, to a selection of meat and fish main courses to (last but not least), our delicious desserts like the famous Tiramisu, here served according to the original 1956 recipe. Gaia’s wine list is carefully selected by Restaurant Manager and Sommellier Krystian Michalowski while Gaia staff, trained to provide you an attentive, friendly yet not intrusive service, is leaded by General Manager Alberto Mattiello.
"Good Italian food"
Nice experience for late night dining. They also have decent Italian food, which is sometimes hard to find in this city, but it is some of my favorite. If you want to reduce the price, just go there for lunch, because they have a special lunch menu and the prices are even lower. I especially like the eggplant at Gaia, so if you need something to try, that is a good place to start.
