about this place
Welcome to Ginger Moon Canteen an exciting Bali eatery focusing on all things local. “Where in Bali!” Seminyak is the hub of Bali’s renowned dining scene and Ginger Moon located in the middle of the action on the famous “eats street” stands out as one of a kind. An oasis on an otherwise bustling street’ our air-conditioned modern Asian Canteen is warm, welcoming and friendly, this is reiterated by our friendly and professional service team who with their naturally warm Balinese hospitality make even the most weary of traveler feel at home. “It’s a sharing thing!” Our cuisine is in a word “local”. We use regional flavors and ingredients and present them in fun and exciting ways, the presentation remains familiar whilst the flavors firmly remind you of where in the world you are. Sharing is highly recommended, Chef Dean Keddell has spent many years traveling all over the globe and he says he learnt one very important thing “whenever people share a meal with friends, family our loved ones this is when they are at their most happiest”, so please when at Ginger Moon order several dishes to share and take your time, your experience will be all the better for it. “When in Bali!” A list of creative locally inspired cocktails (alcoholic and not) and several icy cold beers are on offer to compliment Ginger Moon’s cuisine. A small and surprisingly varied wine list keeps things interesting for wine connoisseur; and of course there is a fresh tropical juice menu, a loose leaf tea list and great coffee to complete the enticing selection. We all look forward to welcoming you to Ginger Moon. Selamat Menikmati!
"Dining At Ginger Moon"
I was quite surprised when I got to Seminyak and saw the wide range of choices when it came to cuisines. I was later told that Seminyak is becoming very famous for serving top notch cuisines from around the world. My favorite was the ginger Moon, Asian cuisine at it's finest. The presentation of the food was utterly amazing. The fresh herbs were so green and their plating was beautiful. I enjoyed their Asian style pizza, babi guling (suckling pig), and please don't judge it by it's name, because honestly it was one of the best pizzas I ever had.
